ProSim Import Design Windows

You can import designs into PROSIM from third party DoE software packages. You use copy-and-paste to copy your selected factor and response settings from the source program and then paste them into PROSIM. Before doing the 'paste' you need to prepare the PROSIM Import Design table so that it is ready to receive the imported data. For any PROSIM model scenario you can choose to fix the values of any of the input factors yourself and import only the values for the other factors. The second setup action is to prepare the order of the columns in the PROSIM Import Design table to be the same order as your imported data. Both these setup functions are managed via the Import Design window below. Once you have completed the setup, you continue to the Import Design table itself, where you can do the 'paste' in order to complete the import of the design into PROSIM and fit the PROSIM Model Scenario to the imported design.  Additional information about the Import Design window is available when you hover over specific areas of the screenshot below. A tooltip explaining each feature is displayed.

Clicking here will take you to the Import Design table where you can paste your previously copied import data and then fit the Model Scenario to the imported Design

When you click Continue, the Import Design Table is displayed, already set up for you to paste in your selected design. Now when you click Fit Design to Model, PROSIM fits the model scenario to each run to generate results for each combination of settings. If any of your settings meet the targets you set for your responses, they will be coloured green. Otherwise they will turn red.
